Thursday 14th October 2021 at 6.30pm at Silverdale Library

THE PUBLIC AND PRESS ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO BE PRESENT But please note that they may be excluded for any item the Council decide should be treated as confidential

 

COVID 19 considerationsPlease stay at home if you are vulnerable, have Covid 19 symptoms or have tested positive for Covid 19 recently – if possible, please carry out a lateral flow test on the day of the meeting.  Please consider wearing masks, sitting 2 meters apart.  Doors and windows will remain open, hand sanitizer must be used on entrance/exit, there will be no shared papers or tables in use.

216/21 Public Participation:  Chair

This item is on the agenda to allow the public to raise issues at the Parish Council  

The period of time designated for public participation in accordance with standing order 2 f shall not exceed 10 minutes unless directed by the chairman of the meeting.  Subject to standing order 2

218/21 Extraordinary business: Co-option of a new councillor.

The required public notices having been displayed for fourteen days (on Parish Council noticeboards and website and the Borough Council website), the following resolution is proposed: the co-option of a new councillor to fill one of the existing vacancies on Silverdale Parish Council.

 

 
219/21 To resolve that the minutes of the SPC meeting held on 9th September 2021 are correct and for the Chair to sign at the meeting (copy attached) Please read these before the meeting as they will be taken as read.

227/21 Update if available on Christmas Tree on the Borough Council car park at Parksite (approved budget is £500) – Mr Chris Spence. 

1.     To receive an update on whether a Christmas tree in the allotment of CS can be gifted and repurposed at Parkside.

228/21 To consider a fee quote for legal costs to extend the lease to include the additional site (plot numbers 45-80) at the Acres Allotments (note additional legal/site remediation/Knotweed costs). To receive feedback on the advice taken from a specialist lawyer regarding the legal agreement.
